Fred is a Patent Agent and the Managing Associate of a team of IP experts at FOIPA. He is a qualified Patent Examiner in Biomedical Sciences having previously worked for the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) for 13 years. He is a registered Patent Agent to practice before KIPI since 2013. He holds a Master of Science Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Intellectual Property Law from WIPO WW Academy, Geneva, Switzerland.

In addition, Fredrick holds other several Advanced Certificates such as Patent Drafting and Intellectual Property Management from ARIPO, UPOV and WIPO WW Academy, Switzerland.

Besides managing the Firm, Fred is the overall coordinator and technical officer in-charge of patent drafting and IP audit. He is a member of Biochemical Society of Kenya and an Innovation Reviewer at the National Commission for Science, Technology & Innovation (NACOSTI). He has published several papers in Magazines and IP Journals.
