Fred is a Patent Agent and the Managing Associate of a team of IP experts at FOIPA. He is a qualified Patent Examiner in Biomedical Sciences having previously worked for the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) for 13 years. He is a registered Patent Agent to practice before KIPI since 2013. He holds a Master of Science Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Intellectual Property Law from WIPO WW Academy, Geneva, Switzerland.

Evans Sikinyi is in-charge of plant breeders; rights in FOIPA. He holds a Ph. D in Horticulture from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, U.S.A., a MSc. Plant Breeding, University of Nairobi and a BSc.  Agriculture from the University of Nairobi. He is a Board Member of the National Biosefety Authority (NBA) in Kenya, a Member of the Intellectual Property Committee (IPC) of the International Seed Federation (ISF), a member of the WEMA product deployment team, AATF and also a Member of the Technical Working Group for Agribusiness & Financial Services under the Agricultural Sector Coordinating Unit.

Alex is the Senior Legal Associate of FOIPAL. He spends his time between managing the business operations side of the Firm and advising clients on building great businesses.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and was called to the bar in 2018.  He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society. Additionally, he is a Certified Professional Mediator and possesses strong negotiation and dispute resolutions skills

Ann is the Marketing Associate of FOIPA. She is an inventor and a graduate of Mt. Kenya University and has a lot of experience and training in marketing novel ideas and business as a whole. Ann has successfully commercialized her invention in natural products in collaboration with the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
